About Rebecca Blissett

I love documenting weddings.

I'm lucky in that my style attracts amazing people who are just like me: easy-going, fun to work with and caring about the details. My approach to covering weddings is to tell your story from start to finish, creating a beautiful record of your day. I've been telling stories through photographs my entire career and that is why weddings are so special: one day with so much emotion, depth and spontaneity is a photojournalist's dream.

When I'm not shooting weddings, I am a regular contributor for such publications as the Georgia Straight magazine in Vancouver, BC, where I photograph concerts, fashion and, occasionally, a cover feature. I could use this space to go on about my qualifications and accomplishments during my past 18 years as a working photojournalist but what it comes down to is that I am passionate about what I do and take great care with every commission and assignment I undertake.
